An intimate church ceremony, boho florals and the most beautiful styling – Natasha & Ryan’s Summer Glanusk Estate Wedding was completely idyllic. Every detail had been lovingly thought out.

We caught up with Natasha & Ryan to find out how they created such a beautiful and special wedding…

Boho wedding inspiration “summer meadow meets Bridgeton”

“I was definitely inspired by lots of boho mood boards on pinterest. I say ‘I’ because I’m not sure Ryan cared about much more other than the food, the music and the cost. I knew I didn’t want it to look too “themed.” I didn’t want a “pink” or “green” or a “blue” wedding, so we went for a muted pastel pallet. Natural and relaxed but with an elegant rather than rustic feel.  Summer meadow meets Bridgeton.”

Helping Natasha and Ryan to create her vision was the amazing Megan & Claude for the styling and Hilarys floral design for the beautiful flowers.

Choosing the idyllic Glanusk Estate as a wedding venue

Set in the gorgeous Brecon Beacons National Park, with 360 views of the surrounding Usk Valley and with plenty of romantic locations for images. It creates a beautiful setting for your Wedding day.

“It was important to us to have a venue where we could have the ceremony and reception in one location, had accommodation and of course experience hosting a tipi. As soon as we met Harry, the estate owner we knew we where going to be able to create a totally bespoke day. We really did not want a package day. The views from Glanusk Lodge site sold us”

Tipis fit the boho relaxed wedding feel

“I wanted a blank canvas (literally) to build a totally bespoke day. I liked the idea of  being able to pick each piece of decor and each supplier myself. I always look to do things differently to how i’ve seen them done before. We’d never known anyone to have a tipi wedding but they all looked AMAZING on Pintrest. It was a bit of a risk as we had never been inside one, right up until it went up on the Thursday before the big day, but it was a risk that definitely paid off. “

All about your wedding guests

Although the day is about the beautiful couple, a big part of your day is the guests and how they feel attending your special day.

“Mostly we wanted our guests to have fun. We envisioned a festival style atmosphere without the festival themed decor. We wanted every guest to feel important and loved by us as a couple & not to feel like there was a divide between his and her guests or between those who were in the wedding party and those who weren’t. This was why we went for long banqueting tables, a sharing feast & ditched the top table – everybody could sit close together and get to know each other during the meal which always makes for a better party atmosphere later.”

All the little things

“It was important that guests felt comfortable & planned the day well to ensure it wasn’t too rushed nor were there long periods of time where people would be bored.  Having delicious food was so important – nothing worse than feeling hungry as weddings are such a long day for guests.”

“The musician, audio guestbook & photobooth also helped with the relaxed but fun atmosphere as well as the outdoor bar! Having this outside meant guests could make the most of the venue and it’s amazing views.”

“For us having enough space for sitting in or out of the tipi, rain or shine, and having a quieter zone in the chill out tent for the Nans was really important to making sure everyone was comfy and enjoying their day (as well as having the most luxurious portaloos we could find). We also wanted an amazing party. The tipi acoustics were fab for the band & DJ! “

Looking through Natasha and Ryans images from their day you can really see that all of this was achieved. By having that vision and then finding suppliers who share that with you really can create something beautiful.

We’re excited to announce our Spring Wedding Open Weekend at the stunning Cheshire venue The Farm Festival Weddings & Events! We are really excited to be the only place in the UK where you can view all three of these amazing types of outdoor event space in the one venue! They are also the very best quality the industry has to offer in outdoor event spaces. With genuine Tentipi Tipis, Roder HTS Marquees and the original sailcloth Sperry tents.

The All About Me Autumn Wedding Open Weekend, is the perfect opportunity to be able to compare all three options for your wedding, in the one place to help decide which is the one for you! It might be a difficult choice as they are all awesome event spaces!

2) We have Living Colour Flowers and Real Oasis doing their floral magic!

Helping us style our Open Weekend and the tents with  inspirational floristry and Event Plants are Richard from Real Oasis and Heather from Living Colour .

Living Colour will be creating beautiful floristry in the Tipi, Sperry and Marquee with three different themes, the marquee will be an elegant pastel vibe, the Sperry a stunning autumnal botanical theme and the Tipi is going to be festival brights! Richard from Real Oasis will be creating a wow factor with his amazing event trees and plants!

3)  We are at the stunning lakeside venue Delamere Events!

Nestled in the Delamere Forest, this hidden valley and lakeside venue is the perfect setting for the All About Me tents. Ryan and the Delamere Events team will also be on hand over the open weekend to chat through anything you might need to know about the venue. Perfectly accessed from all over the Northwest and beyond too, its just one of the many, many reasons we love this venue. Come along and see for yourself.

4) We have the BEST Suppliers!

We love our recommended suppliers and creating the open Weekend with them, talented stationers, cake makers and florist to name a few. We’ll be telling you more about them in the weeks in the run up to the Open Weekend.

5) We have our insanely cool Glamping village to show you!

This is not camping, this is Glamping! With our super cool, spacious but cosy at the same time Glamping bell tents! Complete with all the home comforts for a great nights sleep.  The perfect way to accommodate your guests and extend the celebrations…and of course combined with the benefits of luxury loos on site… this is a  most definitely not just camping!

6) We Light Up the Sky!

We stay open till 9pm on the Friday of the autumn wedding open weekend so that the whole venue can light up the night sky ….catch the gorgeously lit Tipis, Marquee and Sperry as the sun sets.  The images always look incredible but you can come along and see for yourself, just how magical these spaces are after dark.

7)  Our Street Food Village!

Over the weekend we’ll have some super tasty street food caterers coming along so you can sample what they have on offer and get ideas for your event.

For all your bar requirements we have Cestrian Bars too, who we love working with and whole heartedly recommend for your event. Of course in the Tipi’s we’ll also have the fire pits roaring away and an endless supply of marshmallows to toast!
