Wedding Industry Award Hat-trick….

regionalwinner_2Guess what?… We have only gone and won again. Thanks to our amazing clients, All About ME have been awarded the North West Best Marquee Provider for the third year running.

The announcement came at the Wedding Industry Awards ceremony last week and was such a lovely surprise for our team. We know how passionate we are about what we do, and we know how well we do it, but to have it backed up by this award is just wonderful. It means so much because it is voted for by our clients which means that you lot must have said lots of nice stuff about us.

Gosh – how many times can we say thank you? Honestly, we are so chuffed. Now we are heading to London for the National awards ceremony which will take place on January 14th. Please wish us the best of luck. You have done all you can, now all we can do is wait………..

Come on All About ME!!!!

Official MUTA Members!

MUTA MembershipAll About ME Marquees and Events are so pleased to announce that we have been awarded with official MUTA membership for 2015. We have worked hard over these past couple of years to become accredited with MUTA – the only UK trade association dedicated to marquees, tents and structures.

So what does this mean for you? Well in short, this means that you are working with a fabulous team, a professional organisation and quality tents. If you hire a marquee from us you are hiring it with the added security of knowing that we have been recognised as one of the leading providers of tipis in the UK, by an official body monitoring our work, ethics and codes of practise;

“Our members sign up to a Code of Practice requiring them to be legal, decent, honest and truthful. They are obliged to provide a professional standard of workmanship, to check all their own work, and to maintain public liability insurance of at least £1m.

They must follow MUTA’s industry-leading Best Practice Guide and submit themselves to independent inspection to ensure that they do. Members who fail their inspection are required to make immediate improvements; failure to do so results in expulsion.

If something goes wrong, MUTA members must promptly, efficiently and courteously investigate any complaint. If that process fails, customers can complain directly to MUTA. If MUTA upholds the complaint, members must take the required action or be expelled.”

You are welcome to look at the MUTA website for further details of how our membership of this trade association can give you confidence in working with us.

Talking Tipis and Toilets!

It is understandable that guests who are invited to a wedding or any type of event in a Tipi might be concerned about the toilet situation. If you have had experiences of festivals or camping as a youngster, you may have terrible memories of blocked toilets and smelly washrooms. And everyone has had that nightmare situation of being caught short without toilet roll. It isn’t something that most of us like to talk about much, but it is a reality of every day life and like it or not, it needs to be a main concern when organising any event based in one of our tipis.

Mobile Toilets

Blue Loos Luxury Toilets

Unless the tipi is adjacent to a house or facility with suitable WC’s – suitable to cope with the number of guests expected at your event, you will need to hire mobile toilets. There are a lot of great companies out there who provide these services, but you need to be aware that you don’t have to make do with substandard, or ‘builder-type’ toilets. The range of facilities that you can get these days is vast, and some of them are positively lovely!

No we aren’t joking. We are confident enough to say that the mobile toilet facilities that we recommend for use alongside our tipis are actually very luxurious! We work alongside a company called Blue Loos and their luxury range include;

  • Quality hand soaps
  • Fresh towels
  • Full carpeted interior
  • Modern fixings and chrome finishes
  • Aesthetically pleasing exteriors
  • Automatic air fresheners
  • hot and cold running water
  • heating
  • Mirrors with soft lighting
  • Heating
  • Background music

Now that doesn’t sound like your average mobile toilet does it? Blue Loos do provide a range of options to suit individual budgets, so if your event doesn’t require such luxury, you can go with their more standard models which are still really quite lovely.

So you can reassure your guests that your event will provide more than suitable toilet facilities, plenty of toilet roll, heating and even some ambient background music if you desire. Definitely not your average festival toilet!
