We have two fabulous and talented local florists creating magical inspiration in the tents, each with their own unique styles.

Heather and her team from Living Colour Floral Design in Stockton Heath, will be styling our new Sperry and Marquee with two different looks. With her gorgeous floral design, Heather always inspires with unique ideas and only every uses real flowers and foliage and creates stunning centrepieces, perfect to wow your guests.

Alice from local flower grower and florist Delamere Flower Farm, will be inspiring you in the Tipi with her floral creations. A truly sustainable option, Alice grows the blooms she uses and will be inspiring us in the tipi with a stunning array of designs.

Natural Foliage Drama!

If you are looking for the wow factor, Richard from Real Oasis will be dressing the venue with real trees and amazing large plants to create a gorgeous natural canopy of greenery . Real Oasis supply real trees to the TV/Film industry as well as outstanding wedding and events up and down the country. We are delighted to have them at the open weekend.

Light Up, Light Up!

Brilliant suppliers “The Word is Love” create stunning focal points, with their light up features, neon signs and backdrops, a talking point that you can add personalisation to and make a statement too! They will be showcasing their innovative event bakdrops to inspire you in all three tents.

Also making everything look incredible will be Lightech with their event lighting, they specialise in providing the most stunning lighting for marquees, tipi and sperrys and can light up any space and enhance any theme or mood. The team have been busy setting up our beautiful Summer Tipi Showcase this week, appointments starting this Friday the 17th of July 2020 at the amazing venue Delamere Events, Cherry Orchard Lake, Oakmere, Cheshire. Just like our popular our open weekends, we’ll be showcasing 3 of our stunning Tipis with a cirrus Tipi too (our most popular layout ), in the beautiful lakeside setting, dressed as if for a real wedding or event for you to see these beautiful spaces.

You Can See Both Our Stunning Tipi and Marquee Set Up

We think its pretty unique to be able to visit both a Tipi and Marquee side by side, which do you prefer? You can see both at the same time and decide which is for you. It’s a hard choice as both are stunning and perfect spaces for your wedding day. Both will be set up with different layouts, table set ups, choice of furniture, dance floors, lighting and bar spaces. Perfect for helping you make your mind up. We will also have a Glamping village all set out for you to see how comfy and cosy you and your guests could be.

Open Weekend Style Tips Part Two : How to Style your Tipi Wedding

We are so excited about our Open Weekend, its our biggest ever! Taking place on Friday the 5th October (2-9pm), Saturday 6th and Sunday the 7th Oct (10-5pm). Get in touch to pre-register for your goodie bag!

We are the only Open Weekend in the Northwest where you can see Tipis and Marquees side by side in a stunning lakeside setting, along with an entire Glamping and Street Food Village. We also cover the whole of the UK!

So ahead of our big weekend, here is our stylist Rebecca from Pretty Creative to give us some of her top tips on styling your tipi wedding.

Express Yourself – Tipi Wedding

I love, love, love a tipi wedding! They are the ultimate outdoor wedding venue and a bit of a party animal at night! There are so many opportunities to create a space that your guests will love and that you can really put your own style on. Thinking of ways to incorporate touches that reflect you as a couple is a great way to personalise the styling. Perhaps having a festival theme if you are music lovers, complete with festival flags at the entrance and table’s named after your favourite albums or bands.

If you both love to travel you could book different street food caterers with a choice of different food from round the world.

Chill Out Zone and a Great DJ

Tipi weddings are great for creating different zones for your guests, book yourself a brilliant band or DJ to get the dance floor bouncing and in another area of the Tipi, create a chill out zone complete with cozy seating, beanbags and rugs, perfect for chatting and enjoying a good celebratory drink.

Create a Feature

One of my favourite parts of styling any tipi wedding is the entrance area. Line the way with streaming ribbons from festoon lighting poles, create a casual seating area with hay bales and throws, maybe go for a naked tipi! Put a cool round bar in the tipi, next to a dance floor with light up letters and glitter ball.

Inside the entrance you can make your wedding cake a feature right at the front where everyone can see it, ask your florist for a cute vase to put the bouquet in next to it during your meal and hang a funky table plan next to it so everyone knows where they are at!

Light it Up!!

Fill the place with twinkly lights! Tipis are such a magical space and lighting them up with fairy lights and festoon lights, just adds to the atmosphere. With roaring fire pits for toasting marshmallows and warming yourself as the sunsets. You will never regret having more lighting! The tipis look incredible lit outside too with amazing coloured up lighters, festoon lit pathways and outdoor fire pits. Give your guests sparklers for a magical send off at the end of the night.

We are so excited to launch our first open day with our beautiful Clear Span Marquee! Come along on Sunday 20th May 2018 to see the marquee up and fully dressed by our suppliers. Enjoy a glass of champagne and talk to our event coordinators in more detail. We’ll also have one of our beautiful Tipi’s set up for you to view as well!

The gorgeous clear span marquee will set up to be at the lovely surroundings of Park Fields in Christleton, near Chester on Sunday 20th May from 10.00am – 5.00pm. Please do just come along on the day, you can also book an appointment on 01244 360 214 or by emailing James.

Clear Span Marquee – A Versatile Space

These beautiful marquees are the perfect space for an amazing celebration in any setting you want and with beautiful floor to ceiling clear panels and clear span roof panels, you can really bring the outside into your wedding celebrations. Enjoying the day right through to starry nights.

Whether your event is to cater for anything from 20 to 1,000 guests, or more, we are able to build a bespoke marquee for you. They can also be attached to buildings if you already have a barn, hall or indoor area, this can give you that extra bit of space where needed. Whatever the occasion a marquee can provide an extraordinary and individual space to celebrate your wedding or event anywhere.

On the day the Marquee and Tipi will be dressed by our wonderful suppliers, Living Colour Floral Design, Pretty Creative, That Cakes the Biscuit and Knock Knock Penny Studios. You can check out the Pinterest board that Rebecca from Pretty Creative has curated for inspiration for the weekend and any beautiful marquee wedding.

You can also sample canapes from fabulous caterers Horseradish, with amazing bar services provided by out great friends at Cestrian Bars . We’ll have posh facilities on site from Blueloos, who we recommend to all our couples and event organisers.

If you can’t decide what to choose for your outdoor event, a tipi or a clear span marquee, this Sunday is the perfect opportunity for you to compare them side by side. We will have one of our ‘Giant Hat’ Tipi and the smaller cirrus tipi set up for you to look at them both!

Real Boho Wedding at Delamere Events – Venue For Our Tipi Open Weekend

We love a boho wedding ! Floral crowns are a must, epic rustic touches, macrame details, hay bales, dreamcatcher table plans and a VW Beetle wedding car! Bethany and Phil were married in the summer and threw an amazing wedding reception at the Tipi’s at Delamere Lakes. These images are brilliant and are courtesy of Colin Ross Photography.

The Boho Wedding Reception

Bethany and Phil’s guests were entertained with live music as they entered the tipis, that were decorated with our fairly lights, hanging macrame, geometric shapes with airplants, foliage and gorgeous florals in vintage bottles on the tables.

Cool Boho Wedding Decor

The table plan was a handmade dream catcher with pretty olive foliage and gypsophila flowers which tied in the natural boho wedding feel, a lovely rustic vibe.

Each guest had a name place and little succulent plant to keep as a favour from the day. The path up to the tipi was lined with ferns and festoon lighting and there was a beautiful cake display with plants and rustic touches at the entrance too.

Epic Cake ‘Table’ Set Up

The couple used one of our lovely bleached oak wine barrels to show off their stunning naked wedding cake, with cool rustic crates, plants, candle light and signage.

As The Sun Goes Down

It was time to party as the dusk descended on the lake, the tipis take on their amazing evening atmosphere as the sun sets. Bethany and Phil had an awesome naked cake to cut before hitting the dance floor for their first dance.

Last October, our lovely suppliers who work together to dress the tipis for our open weekend, collaborated on this elegant styled vineyard inspiration tipi shoot, captured by Lucy G Photography. We thought we’d share the images today ahead of our next open day. We think they are gorgeous!

The inspiration for the shoot draws on a subtle vineyard theme, with our bleach wood wine barrels, rich deep wine coloured florals, textiles and stationery with gorgeous sophisticated dresses for an elegant twist on a tipi wedding.

The styling is by Rebecca at Pretty Creative , dresses curated by Lucy at The White Closet Studios, Liverpool, beautiful florals by Heather at Living Colour, stationery by Emma at Hattie Boo Designs, hair and make up by Clare at Harry Jon and textiles by Kaye Hannabuss Textiles.

The tipis were set out with a main reception, party tent along with a smaller ceremony/blessing tent that overlooks the lake.The flowers by Living Colour were just a little opulent, with stone urns placed on wine barrels and deep, claret tones in the stunning bouquet.

The stationery again played on the vineyard and wine theme with beautiful hand painted invitations, table plan, save the dates and menus by Hattie Boo Designs as well as all the signage details. The Hollies Farm Shop provided the fabulous cheese and deli board, which Lucy G Photography managed to photograph just before everyone swooped on the cheese board to sample it!

Our bride Charlotte had her look created by talented Clare at Harry Jon, with a very natural look with her hair swept up in a loose up do with the occasional tousled curl loosely falling down around her face and shoulders. For the Charlie Brear dress, Charlotte’s hair was styled with a pretty floral hair clip by Gypsy Rose Vintage.
