This Weekend!!  – Visit our Terrific Tipis, Stunning Sperrys and Magical Marquees!

One more sleep and its HERE!!! It’s our Open Weekend, over the next 3 days (15th/16th/17th October 2021) and we could not be more excited! Why not come along and take a look at these beautiful spaces and toast some marshmallows while you’re here?

We are the only Open Weekend where you can see fully dressed stunning Sperrys, Tipis and a Marquee side by side in a stunning lakeside venue. Along with an entire Glamping Village. We also cover the whole of the UK, so wherever your wedding or Event,  it’s the must see open weekend this autumn!

Where Is The Open Weekend?

Our Open Weekend takes place at Delamere Events, Cherry Orchard Lake, Abbey Lane, Oakmere, Cheshire, CW8 2HN.

You can see the stunning Sperrys, Tipis and Marquee all set up beautifully this weekend…..

Friday the 15th October ( open 2pm – 9pm) as well as

Saturday 16th and Sunday the 17th October 2021 (10am-5pm).

On Friday we open later so you can get a feel for the structures in the evening, all beautifully lit up! Get in touch if you are coming along to pre-register for your goodie bag!

What Will be There?

Dressed to impress! On the open days, you can get a feel for how our stunning Sperrys, Tipis and Marquees look set up with different layouts, furniture options, bars, and finishing touches, to give you as much inspiration for your own event as possible.

Some of our  industry friends will be there too on the open day, so you can gather lots of information, ideas and pricing and can find some amazing handpicked suppliers for your wedding or event.

Not long now till our amazing open weekend at Delamere Events in Cheshire on the 4th, 5th and 6th June 2021. Over the weekend you’ll get to see our biggest ever set up, showcasing our stunning Tipis, epic clear span marquees and absolutely beautiful Sperry Sailcloth tents too. It’s the perfect set up to help you make your mind up which is for you, a Tipi, A Sperry or a Marquee event.

Where and When is the Open Weekend?

We will be showcasing all three  gorgeous structures over three days,  taking place at Delamere Events, Cherry Orchard Lake, Abbey Lane, Oakmere, Cheshire, CW8 2HN.

With years of exceptional experience in outdoor and indoor event catering, Vanilla in All Seasons can create the perfect wedding breakfast and more for you and your wedding party.

Making sure your party is well watered, Cestrian Bars will be on hand with their huge range of draft and bottled drinks, gins, spirits and soft drinks to ensure your event goes off with a bang! A professional bar set up for your perfect event. Come along and see them set up in all three tents.

Who doesn’t love Ice cream served from a gorgeous little vintage Ice Cream Van? The sweetest tasting treats from the Hyacinth Vintage Ice Cream Van are sure to hit the spot. The perfect thing to keep your guests happy, also very cute for wedding photos!

We have two fabulous and talented local florists creating magical inspiration in the tents, each with their own unique styles.

Heather and her team from  Living Colour Floral Design in Stockton Heath,  will be styling our new Sperry and Marquee with two different looks. With her gorgeous floral design, Heather always inspires with unique ideas and only every uses real flowers and  foliage and creates stunning centrepieces, perfect to wow your guests.

Alice from local flower grower and florist Delamere Flower Farm, will be inspiring you in the Tipi with her floral creations.  A truly sustainable option, Alice grows the blooms she uses and will be inspiring us in the tipi with a stunning array of designs.

Natural Foliage Drama!

If you are looking for the wow factor, Richard from Real Oasis will be dressing the venue with real trees and amazing large plants to create a gorgeous natural canopy of greenery . Real Oasis supply real trees to the TV/Film industry as well as outstanding wedding and events up and down the country. We are delighted to have them at the open weekend.

Light Up, Light Up!

Brilliant suppliers “The Word is Love” create stunning focal points, with their light up features, neon signs and backdrops, a talking point that you can add personalisation to and make a statement too! They will be showcasing their innovative event bakdrops to inspire you in all three tents.

Also making everything look incredible will be Lightech with their event lighting, they specialise in providing the most stunning lighting for marquees, tipi and sperrys and can light up any space and enhance any theme or mood. Come along on Friday evening to see the venue lit up at night, it’s truly magical.

Over the open weekend Frank Henshall Photography will be on hand to capture the weekend for us with his talented eye for detail and also to chat to you about your wedding photography needs.  Frank’s photography and film style is natural, documentary, he sums it up as   “Natural, relaxed, timeless……and fun!”

Alice from Delamere Flower Farm will be decorating the Tipi with a selection of their locally grown blooms, with a greenery theme.  Heather from Living Colour will be decorating the Sperry and Marquee with two different themes, one a summer garden meadow vibe, the other a foliage with coral orange ombre and creams.

Richard from Real Oasis will be creating a wow factor with his amazing event trees and plants!

3)  We are at the stunning lakeside venue Delamere Events!


Nestled in the Delamere Forest, this hidden valley and lakeside venue is the perfect setting for the All About Me tents. Ryan and the Delamere Events team will also be on hand over the open weekend to chat through anything you might need to know about the venue. We love our recommended suppliers and creating the open Weekend with them, talented stationers, cake makers and florist to name a few. 5) We have our insanely cool Glamping village to show you!

This is not camping, this is Glamping! With our super cool, spacious but cosy at the same time Glamping bell tents! Complete with all the home comforts for a great nights sleep.  The perfect way to accommodate your guests and extend the celebrations…and of course combined with the benefits of luxury loos on site… this is a  most definitely not just camping!

6) We Light Up the Sky!

We stay open till 9pm on the Friday so that the whole venue can light up the night sky ….catch the gorgeously lit Tipis, Marquee and Sperry as the sun sets.  The images always look incredible but you can come along and see for yourself, just how magical these spaces are after dark.

Last Autumn we showcased our Wedding Tipi alongside our beautiful new marquees, together in the one venue for the first time. We can hardly believe it but its already time to get ready for our next Open Weekend in March!

Once again we’ll be taking  over the entire site at Delamere Events and turning it into an incredible display of Tipi and Marquee gorgeousness for the weekend of 15th/16th/17th March 2019. The idea as always, to show you how incredible your event or wedding can be in one of our versatile outdoor structures.

In the days leading up to the showcase, we work so hard to get the place looking amazing, with the help of some of the industry’s best suppliers. Join us This Weekend for the All About Me Open Weekend!

We are so excited about the huge number of you that have been in touch to let us know that you are coming to our Tipi and Marquee Showcase this weekend! We will be at our beautiful lakeside venue Delamere Events this Friday 5th October (2-9pm) as well as all day Saturday and Sunday 6th and 7th Oct (10-5pm). Come down and see the tipis, marquee, glamping village and street food zone complete with feature naked tipi, all styled to perfect to inspire you!

So with just a few sleeps left till our amazing open weekend, we wanted to give you a little peek at the styling inspiration that’s been going on behind the scenes here at All About Me with our brilliant suppliers.
